I found a story once, So real I felt each word And every character appeared fully formed in front of me Every sentence rolled out, fresh ahead of my fingers Gliding forward over crisp, smooth pages I read with my eyes and my lips Raised hairs and corpuscles And I rode waves of every sensation That had ever been promised to me All those hints and promises became more intensely real Than I had ever been able to imagine I had waited all my life for this story And I knew, KNEW In the way only those with true faith KNOW That this was My story Our story - We were writing it together.
